There’s about as many scents as there are personalities, and there’s plenty go around when it comes to picking out perfume. Atelier d’Artistes which translates to “Workshop of the Artists” is centered on art and intertwined inspirations. It is a collection that encourages the exchange of ideas to awaken the senses. A symphony of notes such as patchouli, tonka bean, tobacco, oud, tuberose, ylang-ylang, rose, orange blossom, and more were expertly blended to aptly capture and reflect the story that each fragrance must tell. Take Carnaval as an example – a perfume inspired by flamboyant colors; two key carnival concepts that inspired the artist’s work. The orange blossom epitomizes this queen. As she moves, she leaves a mist of soft petals behind her. Top notes are bigarade and mandarin that blooms into a heart of orange blossom and ginger. Cardamom, Buschman candle, benzoin, and incense wraps it up at the base to stir the senses and ad an air of mystery, just like the carnival costume.
